Job summary

The State College Area School District is seeking energetic, collaborative Interventionist Paraprofessionals for the Special Education Department. These are district-wide positions with an initial assignment to be discussed during the interview.

All applicants must meet HQ status. HQ criteria include at least 2 years post-secondary education (48 credits) or an associate degree or higher, or other approved standards, with verification required.

Qualifications

• HQ requires 2 years post-secondary education (48 credits) documented by official transcripts; or an associate degree or higher; or criteria deemed acceptable by SCASD and HQ certificate.
• HQ status must be verified and uploaded by all applicants, including internal candidates.
• HQ verification is supported by PDE/PaTTAN, Central IU-10, PA State Education Association, or other professional agencies.
