Qualifications

• Must be Highly Qualified: either an associate’s degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution, or 48 college credits, or ParaPro assessment score of 455 or higher.
• Minimum of 1 year of teacher-assistant or similar work experience.
• Skillful communication with students, teachers, parents, and other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher in various tasks under supervision.
• Deliver non-emergency health-related services as specified in student’s Health Treatment Plan.
• Support the teacher in managing students during school activities.
