Job summary

USD 368 is seeking applicants for special education paraprofessionals to work in the Level III Program at Paola Middle School. This position serves 6th through 8th grade, Special Education students in a self contained classroom setting.

The Level III Paraprofessional works a 7.5 hour per day shift and works 180 days per year (August - May). Health, vision, dental and supplemental insurance coverage available plus retirement plans through the Kansas Public Employee Retirement System.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional support in special education settings.
• Ability to assist in a self-contained classroom.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing IEP goals.
• Support students with instructional activities and behavior plans.
• Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment.
