Responsibilities

• Carries out the absent teacher’s prepared lesson plans and supports the substitute as needed.
• May be assigned to any building in the district based on need.
• Assist classroom teacher as a classroom aide and support student remediation and tutoring.
• Provide instructional services when_needed and assist staff in classroom operations.
• Use available technology to prepare and process information.
• Promote a positive learning environment and maintain student safety and conduct.
