Pact Charter School seeks an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional to support teachers in addressing individual student needs within the general education setting for the 2026/2027 school year.

Hours are approximately 7:45–3:15 on student contact days, with possible variation for before/after school duties. Two years of higher education or an Associates degree (or completion of Paraprofessional Exam) preferred. Starting wage range is $18.00–$36.40 per hour depending on qualifications.

Pact Charter School (Pursuing Academics and Character Together) has an opening for the 2026-2027 school year for an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional to assist teachers with individual student needs served by special education within the general education setting.

• The hours will roughly be 7:45-3:15 on student contact days. Hours may vary depending on before and after school duties. Elementary could be as early as 7:40am and as late as 3:35pm.
• Two years of higher education or Associates (or higher) degree are preferred or completion of the Paraprofessional Exam.
• Starting Step/Lane pay range $18.00 to $36.40 depending upon qualifications. (See full wage schedule attached.)

Location and Community

PACT is located in Ramsey, Minnesota, a family friendly and growing community, of Anoka County with current population around 25,000, and 25 miles northwest of Minneapolis-St. Paul. The PACT Elementary campus is located at 7250 East Ramsey Parkway, in the 420 acre COR Development and next to Ramsey's newest park, The Draw, which includes an amphitheater, water feature, farmer's market, concerts, and other community events. The PACT Secondary campus is located at 7729 161st Ave NW between Central Park in Ramsey and the St. Katharine Drexel Church property. Many parks and an extensive trail system are readily accessible and connected by a network of trails that link The COR to the regional parks and trail system. Many people have chosen to live in Ramsey because of its rural character, wetlands, wildlife, and housing choices. U.S. Highways 10/169 and State Highway 47 are two main routes. Northstar Commuter Rail stops in Ramsey and runs to and from downtown Minneapolis.
