Coweta County Schools is seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support a special education classroom at White Oak Elementary. You will assist the teacher with instructional activities, supervise students, and help implement programs designed to meet individual student needs.

You will prepare materials, maintain classroom routines, collect data on student progress, and participate in district training to support safety and positive behavior strategies.

Qualifications

• The ability to organize and direct small and large groups of children in a variety of activities and settings.
• The ability to adjust to changing conditions and situations.

Responsabilités

• Provides competent support and assistance to the special education classroom teacher in implementing instructional programs.
• Meets and instructs groups and individuals as designated by the teacher.
• Assists in collecting accurate and complete IEP goal data and maintaining student progress records.
• Maintains classroom order, safety, and confidentiality of student information.
• Participates in staff training and committees as required.
