Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. Positions span across multiple districts with schedules that vary by assignment, typically Monday–Friday during school hours.

Pay ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, depending on assignment and experience. You will provide direct support to students with disabilities, implement IEP-based interventions, assist with academics, monitor progress, and collaborate with teachers and specialists to

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Experience working with children, especially in school, camp, or care settings (preferred).
  • Ability to pass state/federal background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to students with disabilities, focusing on behavioral, social-emotional, academic, and educational development.
  • Assist in implementing individualized behavior interventions and strategies outlined in IEPs and student support plans.
  • Support students with academic tasks, classroom activities, and instructional materials based on their individual needs.
  • Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
  • Support positive behavior management and reinforce social-emotional, communication, and interpersonal skill development in the classroom.
  • Provide support with transitions, routines, organization, and daily classroom expectations.
  • Facilitate one-on-one or small group sessions targeting behavioral, academic, and skill-building goals.
  • Promote student independence and self-advocacy through prompting, modeling, reinforcement, and other appropriate support strategies.
  • Support students in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills as appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, BCBAs, and specialists to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavioral and educational supports.
  • Assist with de-escalation and crisis prevention strategies in accordance with student plans and school protocols.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that promotes student success.
