Job summary

New Story Schools in Bloomsburg, PA, is looking for a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with autism and other challenges. You will assist teachers with academic, behavioral, and daily living goals, implement IEPs under guidance, and help students with transitions and self-care.

Candidates need at least three months of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives. Join our team and help students write their new story.

As a Special Education Paraprofessional at New Story Schools, you will work alongside teachers to support students’ academic, behavioral, and daily living goals. You’ll play a vital role in helping each student succeed through direct support, patience, and encouragement.

Start Date: Mid-June (candidates will work the Summer Extended School Year, with carryover into the 26-27 school year).
