Responsibilities

• Classroom assistance under the direction of a licensed employee, including preparing instructional materials and monitoring student progress.
• Supervision of students in various settings such as cafeteria, playground, classrooms, and during bus travel.
• Support for students with special needs, including IEP/504/ELL considerations as applicable.
• Assisting with activities of daily living as needed (dietary needs, toileting, hygiene).
• Clerical tasks such as data entry, attendance, and basic office duties as assigned.
• Library/media support and assisting staff with educational materials and activities.
• Other duties as determined by the building principal, including participation in professional development.
