Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or 48 college hours completed or WORKKEYS test.
• Good physical and emotional health, including ability to lift and implement behavioral management with students of varying ages/sizes.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Support the instructional program within assigned classrooms.
• Assist in supervising, caring for and instructing students with special needs.
• Assist in implementing plans for instruction and monitoring behavior.
• Provide information to appropriate school personnel.
