Job summary

Qualifications

• Specialized skills to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a classroom.
• Ability to assist students with disabilities under supervision of a certificated teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to students in a Special Day Class or other programs.
• Support students with disabilities to meet IEP goals.
• Monitor and report student progress and assist with health needs as trained.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment and support clerical duties as needed.
