Job summary

Puyallup School District is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator to support the Special Education Center at Brouillet Elementary School. The role is PESPA Level 3 with a 6.95-hour day, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:27 PM, 191-day calendar, and potential bus-riding flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Earn 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Score 65% or higher on The Master Teacher Inc. Paraeducator Online Training Program (not administered by PSD).

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction and support to students with disabilities.
• Assist with modified curriculum instruction including functional academics, daily living skills, prevocational/vocational skills, behavior skills and social skills.
