Muskie Early Learning Center, part of the Muscatine Community School District, is hiring a Special Education Aide for 6.25 hours per day, Monday through Friday, roughly 7:40am - 2:25pm. This on-site role supports students with individualized needs in a 9-month school-year schedule.

Starting pay is $18.40 per hour. Bilingual skills are preferred. An interview, pre-employment background check, and onboarding session are required before beginning as a Paraeducator.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual preferred or highly desirable.
• Some training may be required; on-site onboarding provided.
• Must be physically capable to assist students, including lifting.

Responsabilidades

• Assist classroom teacher to support academic, social, and behavioral goals.
• Work one-to-one with students to complete tasks as needed.
• Support data collection under teacher direction.
• Assist in restroom or with personal hygiene as required.
• Regular attendance to ensure consistency with students.
• Other duties as assigned.
