Hampstead Central School is seeking a full-time special education paraeducator to work with and provide classroom support to elementary students. Under the direction of the special education case manager and classroom teacher, you will help implement and reinforce individual education programs and may attend related services to support carry-over skills.

Wage and benefits are based on the Hampstead Associate of School Staff (HASS) Agreement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform light physical tasks.
• Supports implementation of individual education programs under guidance.

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing and reinforcing students' IEPs/IPEs under supervision.
• Provide classroom support to elementary students as directed by teachers and case manager.
• Attend related services and help carry over skills between settings.

Hampstead Central School (Pre-K through Grade 4) is seeking a full-time special education paraeducator to work with and provide classroom support to elementary students.Under the direction of the special education case manager and classroom teacher, the paraeducator assists in the implementation and reinforcement of the students' individual educational programs. Paraeducator may attend related services and support the student with carry-over skills. Duties may include the lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, pushing, and walking.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalency
Ability to lift 50 pounds and other physical capability as noted

Other:
6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday
30 minute unpaid lunch
Salary and benefits are based on experience and the Hampstead Associate of School Staff (HASS) Agreement, attached.
