Job summary

Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Para III to support students in Independence Academy sites. This paraeducator role covers individuals with a range of needs, including behavioral challenges, within the Independence Academy program for students aged 18-21.

The position runs 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, 183 days per year, at 6 hours daily. Starting date is immediate; salary is $21.30 per hour, with veterans preference noted. Travel among Independence Academy sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to support students with a spectrum of special needs including behavioral.
• Follow instructional plans and attend required training days.
• Willingness to travel between Independence Academy sites within the district.

Responsibilities
