• Selects appropriate assessment instruments.
• Interprets assessment information accurately.
• Develops long-range instructional/therapeutic plans and goals.
• Provides instruction/therapy/counseling to meet IEP goals.
• Communicates effectively with students and parents.
• Coordinates meetings, paperwork, and required notifications.
• Trains and supervises paraprofessionals where applicable.
