Tutor Me Education in Los Gatos is seeking an experienced Special Education tutor to provide individualized, one-on-one in-home tutoring for an 8th-grade student. You will use structured, developmentally appropriate instruction to support academic growth.

The role emphasizes math foundations and focused, step-by-step instruction, with attention to focus, behavior support, and creating a supportive learning environment. Start ASAP and opportunity to grow with additional sessions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Autism and ADHD.
• Strong background in special education or behavioral support strategies.
• Structured, step-by-step math instruction.
• Gentle redirection and support attention/focus needs.
• Female tutor preferred (student is not comfortable with male tutors).

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Special Education tutor to provide individualized general academic support to an 8th-grade student. The tutor will work in a one‑on‑one setting and support learning through structured, engaging, and developmentally appropriate instruction.

Details

• Competitive pay based on specialization ($25–$35/hour).
• Schedule: Tuesdays & Thursdays after 3:30PM
• Hours: 73 hours per month, Twice a week for 1.5 hours
• Opportunity to add additional sessions in the future
• Start ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction in foundational math skills
