Job summary

Hollis Montessori School in Hollis, NH seeks a Special Education Learning Specialist to design learning and behavior plans and provide targeted instruction for students ages 3-15.

You will coordinate accommodations for executive functioning, sensory processing, and social-emotional development, and collaborate with families and external specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Strong understanding of Montessori principles.
• Experience with ages 3–15.
• Ability to support autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and executive dysfunction.

Special Education Learning Specialist

Administrative

Hollis Montessori School is seeking an exceptional, adaptable, compassionate, and collaborative Special Education Learning Specialist to support students ages 3-15. The ideal candidate will design student learning and behavior plans, and provide targeted Instruction with students. This position will support accommodations for executive functioning, sensory processing, and social-emotional development. They will collaborate regularly with the Lead Guide, partner with families and coordinate external speech, occupational, behavioral therapists, and educational testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of, or deep respect for, Montessori principles.
• Experience working with children across multiple developmental stages, from early childhood (age 3) through early adolescence (age 15).
• Demonstrated ability to support students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and executive dysfunction.

Preferred Qualifications

• MACTE-accredited credential (AMI, AMS, or equivalent) at any level is highly preferred.
