Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid and clear teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Leadership Certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models for and supports special education staff in standards-based curriculum implementation.
• Plans and delivers professional learning activities for staff and parents.
• Participates in professional learning to improve compliance and IEP processes.
• Collaborates with parents and local staff on instructional decisions for students with disabilities.
• Analyzes student data to inform teaching strategies for students with disabilities.
• Provides coaching to support district initiatives in literacy, math, and personalized instruction.
• Assists teachers with classroom management and behavioral supports.
• Supports IEP development, data collection, and master schedule planning.
