Qualifications

• Graduation from high school and one year of relevant experience.
• Pathways include two years of college (48 units) or an associate’s degree, or passing the paraprofessional test, or NCLB compliance.
• IA I requires 30 accredited college units; IA II requires 60 units and 75% IA I service.
• Teacher Associate requires 90 units and 75% IA II service.
• Teacher Candidate requires 120 units, 75% IA II/preceding two years, and proof of enrollment toward a bachelor's degree or teaching credential.
