Job summary

New Story Schools in Carlisle, PA, is seeking a dynamic leader to oversee a specialized program for students ages 5–21 with autism and related challenges. You’ll ensure high-quality instruction, regulatory compliance, and strong collaboration with families and districts.

Lead the IEP process, supervise teachers, manage the academic budget, and partner with community stakeholders to sustain excellence. A Bachelor’s is required; a Master’s and PA Special Education certification are preferred, with

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Pennsylvania certification in Special Education or Supervisor of Special Education required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in special education, including four in a leadership or teaching role.
• Strong knowledge of PDE regulations, IEP development, and curriculum design for diverse learners.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
