Overview

Special Education Co-Teacher/Paraprofessional (2024 - 2025) role at Discovery Health Sciences Schools – Kenner Discovery Health Sciences School. This position supports children with special needs in general and special education classrooms and partners with the special education lead teacher. The role involves addressing academic and social needs related to hearing loss, vision loss, autism, health impairments, language disorders, or cognitive weaknesses. Candidates with experience delivering a variety of accommodations in multiple settings and the ability to collaborate with teachers and school leaders to advocate for student needs are desired. Summer trainings/workshops may be required. Position available August 2024.
