Job summary

A local school district is looking for a Special Education Bus Aide to assist special education students during transport to and from school. You'll ensure that students are safely secured and help maintain order on the bus. This role requires a high school diploma and strong skills in handling children with special needs. Immediate start is available, and the position includes full-time hours with a salary range of $16 to $16.60 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to a fifty-pound child and assist wheelchair-bound students.
• Must complete a CPR First Aid Course.
• Ability to move about bus, classroom, and campus.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education students onto and off of the school bus.
• Ensure students are properly secured and seat belted.
• Maintain order during transport and assist with classroom transitions.
