Qualifications

  • Experience applying behavior support strategies and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency with assistive technologies and communication supports.
  • Capable of performing sensitive personal care tasks with respect for student dignity.
  • Attention to accurate data collection and reporting for IEP goals and progress.
  • Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (OT, PT, SLP, teachers).
  • Ability to navigate classrooms and community settings to support student learning.
  • Physical strength to assist with transfers and mobility equipment.
  • Endurance to stay engaged during transitions, activities, and field trips.
  • Ability to observe and respond to changes in student health or well-being.
  • Adherence to hygiene, safety, and PPE protocols in school settings.
  • Willingness to coordinate transportation and community-based instruction.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and safety training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional support and academic assistance across program levels.
