Job summary

Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance and physical ability to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with instructional plans and cognitive-domain instruction.
• Support self-help and community-based instruction.
• Assist with group activities and with support/ancillary staff on motor skills.
• Supervise students during activities and ensure safety.
• Assist in loading/unloading of students and handling of wheelchairs/adaptive equipment.
• Attend meetings and help prepare instructional materials and communications.
