Job summary

Responsibilities

• Attends to the personal needs of the disabled student under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
• Helps students to walk, board buses, and perform other activities as needed.
• Assists with student management and provides clerical support to teachers.
• Sets up and operates learning materials and equipment; tutors students.
• Follows safety rules and confidentially handles student information.
• Participates in district training on restraint and de-escalation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Regards information on students records and, in the school setting as strictly confidential.
• Participates in Restraint / De-escalation training provided by the district.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary: $24892 - $28742 per year
