Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors in North Carolina seeks passionate educators to inspire learning through in-home tutoring sessions. We hire certified teachers or candidates pursuing licensure, dedicated to student success in Special Education, AIG, and core subjects.

You will craft customized lesson plans, support remedial and enrichment needs, and collaborate with families to track progress. Flexible hours and ongoing professional development are offered with autonomy to shape your tutoring schedule.

Qualifications

• Certified teachers or those on the path to becoming one.
• Love teaching and student success with commitment to excellence.
• Experience with Special Education / AIG is helpful.
• Familiar with North Carolina Standard Course of Study.

Responsibilities

• As Prep Academy Tutor, empower students with academic support based on the NC Standard Course of Study.
• Develop customized learning plans to help students understand material, not memorize.
• Provide remedial and enrichment opportunities to challenge students as needed.
• Collaborate with parents to communicate progress, struggles and successes.
