Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration with educators.
• Experience supporting special education students.
• Ability to follow individual education plans.
• Willingness to perform administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students during various phases of the school day.
• Assist with toileting, feeding, eating and personal hygiene.
• Support education efforts in the Special Education classroom and general education classroom as needed
• Performs administrative tasks such as attendance records, filing, scheduling, and reviewing assignments
• Works with students in accordance with plans developed by the specialist and educator
• Participates in Parent Teacher conferences
• Preparing instructional materials related to classroom lessons
