A local school district is seeking a Special Education Aide to support students in their educational tasks and assist with self-help skills. Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to pass a BCI&I and FBI criminal background check.
Responsibilities
Supports the student(s) in recitation, reading, and other curriculum tasks.
Implements teacher-directed interventions to support pupil performance objectives.
Assists students in accomplishing self-help skills and gradually decreases support as appropriate.
Assists in documentation of pupil performance.
Assist in toileting needs, including diapering.
Works with student(s) who have medical needs.
