Young World Physical Education in Nacogdoches, Texas is looking for a Special Ed Instructional Aide to support special education teachers by attending to the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities. You will assist in implementing classroom programs and work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
The ideal candidate should possess a high school diploma or GED and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with children with disabilities. Experience is preferred but not required. Your role will be vital in maintaining an organized classroom and aiding students in various capacities.
Special Ed Instructional Aide
Help special education teacher provide for physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a special education setting. Assist in implementation of classroom programs, including self‑help, behavior management, and instruction programs. Work under general supervision of the principal and under the immediate direction of a certified teacher.

Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling; regular heavy lifting of students. Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases.
