Qualifications

• Experience: at least one year of general clerical or education support work.
• Education substitution possible with two years of education beyond high school.
• Combination of education and experience may qualify as 100% of requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students throughout the school day.
• Assist with toileting, feeding, eating and personal hygiene.
• Support educational efforts in special and general education classrooms.
• Perform administrative tasks: attendance, filing, scheduling, and reviewing assignments.
• Collaborate with specialists and educators to implement plans.
• Participate in parent–teacher conferences.
• Prepare instructional materials related to classroom lessons.
