ORLEANS/NIAGARA BOCES in New York is seeking a Special Education Teacher Aide to support students with disabilities in a small high school setting focused on job skills, independence, and academics.

The role requires the ability to follow directions, flexibility, patience, and teamwork. TCIS/de-escalation training is preferred, and candidates must meet civil service requirements with a high school diploma or GED. Salary ranges $20.16–$21.40 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• TCIS and de-escalation training preferred.
• Regular attendance and dependability required.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 40 lbs.
