Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in California. The contract runs from August 2026 to May 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours across five days.

You will support PreK-5 students with diverse abilities, delivering differentiated instruction and collaborating with families to foster growth. Qualified candidates will hold a Mild/Moderate credential (Autism authorization preferred) and bring strong classroom management and IEP

Qualifications

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education (Mild/Moderate license required).
• Mod/Severe and Autism authorization or license preferred.
• Experience with PreK-5th grade in a school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for diverse learners.
• Develop and maintain IEPs, track progress, collaborate with educators and families.
• Employ varied instructional strategies to support student success.
• Foster an inclusive classroom focused on growth and independence.
