Job summary

Meriden Public Schools is hiring a full-time special education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year at Nathan Hale School. The teacher will collaborate with general education staff to provide a continuum of supports and services tailored to individual student needs.

Responsibilities include conducting individual assessments, writing IEPs, participating in PPTs, and reporting student progress in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• A valid Connecticut teacher certification with endorsement #065, #165, or #265 is required.
