Job summary

Ro Health, Monrovia, CA, is seeking a Paraeducator to support students from Preschool through Grade 12 with both classroom and 1:1 needs. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, supporting instructional and behavioral programs under classroom staff guidance.

The position emphasizes collaboration with teachers in regular and special education settings, helping students participate, grow socially and academically, and adapt activities to individual needs.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of college coursework completed.
• Ability to assess student needs and progress.
• Willingness to assist in students' learning processes.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with staff.

Responsibilities

• Supports feeding, hygiene and physical needs of students as applicable.
• Implements educational and behavioral programming under supervision.
• Collects, monitors and communicates student progress.
• Assists students in and out of the classroom (pack backpacks, notes, field trips).
• Supervises students in all school settings; may be required before/after school.
• Adapts materials and provides accommodations to enable participation.
