Qualifications

• Requires at least 60 college credits or an associate’s or higher degree.
• Alternatively, successful ParaPro Assessment.
• Ability to follow instructional plans and IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructional plans as designated by the classroom teacher and IEP.
• Assist students individually and in groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Administer tests, homework, and make‑up work as directed by the teacher.
• Maintain a pleasant and orderly classroom environment and assist with materials and bulletin boards.
• Support classroom behavior and culture under teacher direction and assist with discipline as needed.
• Assist with field trips, library, assemblies, and related instructional activities to identify needed support.
• Help move students between learning environments and manage attendance and lunch tasks.
• Perform clerical duties as directed and supervise students during lunch and non‑instructional times.
• Assist with maintaining student records and participate in team meetings.
• Provide support for toileting, feeding, and positioning when required, and assist with related services.
