Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Unit in Connecticut.

You will provide direct and indirect patient-centered care, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and promptly communicate changes in patient condition to ensure optimal outcomes. The role requires CT RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification (upon hire or during orientation), and strong English communication and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse in Connecticut.
• BCLS and ACLS certification required within orientation or upon hire.
• Proficient English communication, both written and spoken.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care in the Special Care Unit.
• Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Communicate patient clinical status promptly and accurately, responding to changes in condition.
• Deliver age-appropriate care across the life span.
• Support the profession of nursing and professional practice through teamwork.
