Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a part-time registered nurse for the evening shift at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center to provide high-quality acute nursing care in a collaborative team.

You will assess and plan care for patients with strokes, multi-trauma injuries, burns, and complex conditions, supervising LPNs/PCAs, coordinating with physicians and families, and supporting patients through significant lifestyle changes during a 2-3 week average stay.

Qualifications

• Active IA RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of patients.
• Supervises and coordinates care provided by LPNs and PCAs.
• Facilitates communication with physicians, families and other team members.
