Job description

Overview

This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. This is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO; Los Angeles or San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; or Boston, MA.

This position is responsible for assisting with the management of a portfolio of distressed and stressed in order to minimize losses to the Bank. The primary focus of this position is to maximize recoveries and minimize losses of our stressed and distressed loan and equity positions through restructuring efforts to bridge to an exit or turnaround. Exposures can be bi-lateral, participation in syndicated facilities or agent led transactions.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

Asset Management - Analyzes portfolio financials of stressed and distressed to create models to structure workout strategies for the Borrowers. Prepares and processes portfolio reviews, credit action applications and upgrade/downgrade memos.

Business Support - Works closely with Team leaders in the development, implementation, and monitoring of restructured strategies. Assist team leaders with negotiations of amendments, waivers, restructuring proposals, and other necessary credit documentation.

Regulatory Compliance - Maintains current knowledge practices and regulations that pertain to management of stressed and distressed portfolios to ensure adherence to regulations and Bank policies and procedures. Performs due diligence to identify risks associated with credit actions.

Collaboration - Interfaces across multiple internal business units to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant management and resolution of stressed and distressed portfolios.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Credit Training or Financial Modeling, valuation and credit OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Credit Training or Financial Modeling, valuation and credit

Preferred Area of Study: Accounting, Finance, Credit

Preferred Area of Experience: Commercial Banking or Advisory

Additional Information

If hired in CO, the base pay for this position is generally between $102,300 and $136,400. If hired in Boston/LA/SF/NYC, the base pay for this position is generally between $105,000 and $145,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
