Job summary

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking a Special Agent in Minneapolis to protect national security and public safety. Candidates will leverage analytical skills, data analysis and field experience to investigate cyber threats, terrorism, fraud and other critical crimes.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, the ability to obtain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in physical sciences or related field) from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands.
• Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain physical fitness to ensure readiness to perform law enforcement duties.
