Job summary

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking candidates with a strong accounting or finance background to transition into a Special Agent career. Your expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and risk assessment will inform investigations addressing threats to national security and public safety.

Applicants must meet FBI eligibility, be a U.S. citizen, and be able to obtain SCI clearance, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related field.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
• Familiarity with U.S. GAAP reporting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws, cybersecurity, and public safety.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility in meeting investigative demands.
• Create and maintain effective liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain a level of physical fitness to ensure the readiness required to perform law enforcement duties.
