Job summary

The FBI is seeking highly analytical individuals to join as Special Agents, where your engineering background and investigative mindset will protect national security. You will analyze complex data, identify patterns, and support investigations addressing cyber, terrorism, and fraud threats.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred), and be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a U.S. accredited college or university (engineering preferred).
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct investigations of potential violations of federal laws and cyber threats.
• Exercise judgment, resourcefulness, and versatility to meet investigative demands.
• Create and maintain liaison relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain physical fitness to perform law enforcement duties.
