Job summary

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Chicago seeks a Special Agent to leverage cybersecurity expertise and analytical skills in protecting national security. You will investigate cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and evolving threats, using data analysis and attention to detail to identify patterns and support investigations.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (preferably in CS, engineering, data science, IT, or related fields) and the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance.

SALARY LEVEL

Pay level for this position:

• $93,749.00 - $133,200.00

Salary is commensurate with base, locality, and availability pay.

MAJOR DUTIES

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.

EDUCATION

• Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field) from a U.S. accredited college or university.
