Job summary

The FBI is seeking a Special Agent with a cybersecurity/technical background for its national security mission in Los Angeles. You will apply analytical thinking, data analysis, and rigorous assessment to investigate cyber threats, fraud, and evolving criminal activity.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance and hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; some travel may be required.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.
  • Must meet the FBI’s Employment Eligibility requirements.

EDUCATION

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a related field) from a U.S. accredited college or university.
