As a Special Agent, you’ll operate at the intersection of high-stakes criminal investigations, complex financial oversight, and proactive field enforcement.
We are seeking a high-caliber Special Agent to join our Gaming Enforcement unit. In this sworn peace officer role, you will be on the front lines—keeping Colorado’s limited gaming industry fair, transparent, and strictly free from criminal influence.
Drive Complex Investigations: Lead end-to-end criminal and statutory investigations into sophisticated multi-jurisdictional financial, regulatory, and corporate violations.
Execute Law Enforcement Operations: Utilize your full peace officer authority to conduct tactical operations, execute search and arrest warrants, make physical arrests, and prepare bulletproof case files for state and federal prosecution.
Conduct High-Stakes Field Interrogations: Interview victims, witnesses, and key stakeholders, and lead tactical interrogations of primary suspects to uncover critical evidence.
Maintain High-Visibility Deterrence: Perform proactive, armed field patrols and site visits across gaming facilities to preserve the peace, deter illegal activity, and maintain public confidence.
Inspect & Resolve Industry Issues: Perform comprehensive facility inspections, evaluate specialized gaming equipment, and independently resolve complex patron disputes and jackpot complaints.
Build Court-Ready Cases: Draft detailed investigative reports, analyze financial and state database evidence, and provide expert testimony in criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings.
Deliver Expert Training: Serve as a subject matter expert by designing and delivering specialized training to local law enforcement partners, industry leadership, and regulatory bodies.

Eight (8) years of relevant experience in conducting both criminal and regulatory investigations.
A combination of related education in Business Administration, Public Administration, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Criminalistics, Political Science, Police Science, Law Enforcement, Law, Psychology, Sociology, and/or relevant experience in conducting both criminal and regulatory investigations equal to eight (8) years.

Regulatory & Legal Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Colorado gaming rules, regulations, and relevant statutory frameworks.

Regulatory Compliance background: Additional years of professional investigative or compliance experience within a regulated industry or law enforcement setting.

Technical Proficiency: High command of productivity platforms, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
