Job summary

Admiral Beverage Corporation seeks a Merchandiser to display beverage products on shelves, showcases, and the sales floor, following planograms and sold-by-date requirements.

Responsibilities include arranging products, posting signs, moving stock from back room to floor, and ordering products for accounts to avoid stockouts. You will collaborate with Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager on display ideas and maintain daily store communications.

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience preferred.
• Ability to follow planograms and POS materials.
• Strong communication with store personnel.

Responsibilities

• Arranges products according to plan or management direction.
• Places price and descriptive signs on displays and fixtures.
• Moves products from stock room to floor displays to meet Sell By dates.
• Orders products for accounts to prevent out-of-stocks.
• Creates or adapts display ideas with Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicates daily with store personnel about service or product needs.
• Assembles display aids from POS materials provided by the company.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Merchandiser

Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store by performing the following duties.

• Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
• Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
