Sofidel America of Gila Bend is seeking a Spare Parts Warehouse Assistant to support daily operations in the spare parts warehouse, ensuring timely availability for production and maintenance activities. The role emphasizes inventory management, accurate record-keeping, and collaboration with purchasing and maintenance teams to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidate is detail-oriented with 2–3 years of related experience, proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiar with SAP.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Experience tracking parts/orders and maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Operations department in supplier selection and requesting offers per technical requirements.
• Follow the approval process to create purchase requisitions for spare parts and non-spare parts within SAP.
• Manage vendor delivery and services of equipment.
• Manage all receipt registrations of goods for referenced cost items.
• Support the Accounting department with managing invoices.
• Provide data to support budgeting and cost control and work with leadership to obtain approvals.
• Provide support to various departments and associates to determine purchasing needs.
• Assist external contractors in completing building maintenance duties and tasks as required.
• Create an appropriate corporate culture to promote onsite safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including spare parts inventory and warehouse.

Position Overview

Sofidel America of Gila Bend, a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, is a leading manufacturer of tissue paper products for hygienic and household use. We are currently seeking a Spare Parts Warehouse Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a detail oriented and organized professional who is interested in a long term opportunity with a stable and growing organization.

As a Spare Parts Warehouse Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the spare parts warehouse by ensuring the timely availability of parts and materials needed for production and maintenance activities. This role is responsible for supporting inventory management, processing spare parts transactions, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with purchasing and warehouse activities to help ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the Operations department in selecting suppliers and requesting offers to purchase goods or services within his/her sphere of responsibility, in accordance with technical requirements.
• Follow the approval process to create purchase requisitions for spare parts and non-spare parts within SAP.
• Manage vendor delivery and services of equipment.
• Manage all receipt registrations of goods for referenced cost items.
• Support the Accounting department with managing invoices.
• Provide data to support budgeting and cost control and work with leadership staff to ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained.
• Provide support to various departments and associates to determine purchasing needs.
• Assist external contractors in the completion of all building maintenance duties and tasks, as required.
• Create an appropriate corporate culture to promote onsite safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the management of the spare parts inventory and warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, manufacturing, maintenance support, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while accepting instructions and assignments, as necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to develop relationships and work cross-functionally with co-workers and vendors.
• Ability set a positive example in punctuality and professional demeanor.
• Experience tracking parts/orders, maintenance, background in manufacturing equipment.
• SAP knowledge is preferred.
