RISE Prep Upper Academy in Woonsocket, RI, seeks a World Language & Spanish Teacher for grades 9–12. You will deliver high-quality instruction, align to CCSS, and support multilingual learners within a structured, rigorous college-preparatory program.

You’ll collaborate with a culture of growth, family partnerships, and data-driven instruction while contributing to an extended-day, high-expectation learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for teaching
• Completion of Science of Reading training or program
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Technological proficiency for online platforms
• Preferred: familiarity with high-quality instructional materials
• Certification or endorsement in Special Education or Multilingual Learner recommended
• Fluency in a non-English language preferred (Spanish, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction in World Language/Spanish for grades 9–11
• Implement curricular materials aligned to CCSS and school sequences
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners including multilingual learners
• Use data to inform instruction and monitor scholar mastery
• Collaborate with teachers, families and staff to support student growth
• Contribute to a structured, joyful school culture and extended learning opportunities
