Job Summary

We are seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and reliable tutors to join our Richmond team. You will work one‑on‑one with students to support their academic success across a range of subjects, tailoring your approach to fit individual learning styles.

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic support based on expertise and alignment with Virginia’s curriculum standards.
Design and deliver customized tutoring sessions in a variety of subjects.
Offer remedial or enrichment instruction based on each student’s needs.
Assign supplemental materials to enhance understanding and retention.
Maintain open communication with parents/guardians to report on student progress and goals.

Hold a valid Virginia State teaching certificate (or equivalent from another state).
Currently enrolled in a teacher certification program.
Have 2+ years of experience teaching in a private, public, or charter school.
Have experience as a lecturer or course instructor at an accredited U.S. college or university.
Are a Master’s or PhD student with experience as a teaching assistant at a U.S. university or college.
