Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services seeks a Spanish Professional Translator/Interpreter to support a U.S. government agency in Reston, VA. Responsibilities include translation, transcription, and interpretation, with occasional travel and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as professional translator/interpreter or MA in Translation/Interpretation
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required
• Interpretation between source and target languages, translation and transcription
• Proficiency in quality control and proofreading of final products
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS up to ~60% and work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Spanish to English and vice versa interpretation and translation
• Perform proofreading and quality control of final products
• Provide Spanish conversational sessions as needed
• Work independently and meet deadlines
• Coordinate with teams to support a government agency
• Travel as required to meet office requirements
